Rail, Viaduct & Road Bridges Maintenance
Over the past 15 years PCR have used their expertise in High Level expertise to complete many prestigious Bridge projects throughout the UK.
These include:
- Renewal of Rail Bridge structure during 58-hour possessions. Refurbishment of masonry Viaducts.
- Strengthening repairs to the Royal Border Bridge in Berwick upon Tweed.
- Refurbishment of Redundant Viaducts.
- Structural Repairs of Steel bridges including industrial coating.
- Replacement of failed Bridge Bearing’s notably the Thelwall Viaduct, in which PCR working with the main contractor John Martins Construction Limited installed the structural steelwork required to support these new bearings.
- Strengthening of Irwell Viaduct.
- Installation of Matrix gantries on M60
- Installing Bridge support steelwork for Wigmore Viaduct.
Within our in-house team we employ Scaffolders, Riggers, Platers, Welders, Bricklayers and General Operatives.

- Removal of rail timber decks and replacement with new steel decks
