London Bridge Repairs

PCR have recently completed works to Channel Sea Bridge as part of the Northern Outfall Sewer Bridges Package. In June 2014, we began working on an iconic Victorian structure located in Stratford, London for Optimise on behalf of Thames Water. Our role was to carry out all structural restrengthening work to a bridge carrying 3No sewer barrels on the underside from Central London to Abbey Mills Pumping Station. The cast iron structure was heavily corroded; the hangers supporting the barrels were removed, replaced and tensioned by our work force and the mid and top flanges over plated where necessary by our in-house welders, platers and bolting technicians.
