Work is now well underway, with the roof, second floor level, boom and cabin now removed. The project required a good amount of planning prior to commencing due to the complex nature of the task in hand; the structure had been out of use for a number of years so careful consideration was made in order to ensure we applied the safest and most cost effective method to dismantle this structure. We opted for a piece-by-piece demolition process, first cutting away sections in the steel frame and then removing with the aid of a Telescopic Boom and Crane. Work will reach completion by Mid September.
